Chef Matt Blondin
Matt Blondin, originally a native of Sudbury, Ontario has worked in the Toronto restaurant scene since 2005. He started his Toronto career at Rain, and further honed his skills at Luce and Sen5es. In 2007, Matt joined Claudio Aprile, at Colborne Lane, and eventually became its Chef de Cuisine in 2008. After leaving Colborne Lane, and spending part of 2010/11 in British Columbia studying seafood and west coast aquaculture, Matt returned to Toronto to open the highly awarded Acadia. In 2012, he signed on with Momofuku as Daisho’s Executive Sous Chef, and remained there until mid 2013, when he partnered with Toronto based hospitality company The Food Dudes. The group has since opened several restaurants in including Rasa, Pantry, Omaw, and an upcoming second Pantry in Toronto’s Rosedale district.
