This inimitable session will be led by Sebastian Cortez, owner of Sebastian & Co Fine Meats, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2017. A trained professional chef who worked with Toronto’s renowned Jamie Kennedy, Sebastian sought to broaden his knowledge of food by studying the fine art of butchery. The evening will include learning the fundamentals of sausage making and finish with sausage tasting. The winner’s recipe will be featured the following week at Sebastian & Co. Guests will also leave with 5 lbs of their own hand-made sausages to enjoy at home.
